Agnes Hong

As an undergrad at U.C. Berkeley, I got my first taste of teaching English at an Oakland Chinatown recreational center every Sunday over the span of three years. After a decade-plus stint as an attorney and holding senior positions at a S&P 500 company, I was happy to return to my passion for teaching by obtaining a Master’s in English with a concentration in Teaching English to Speakers of Other Languages here at SFSU. I now happily work with multilingual and first-generation students, helping them reach their academic and professional goals.
