Tyler Lacy

I view my teaching as an ever-evolving practice to help individuals think more critically about the world in which we live, a type of thinking which utilizes reading and writing as tools to hone one’s awareness of self and surroundings, and to increase self-empowerment and self-actualization. This has been my approach from city colleges, where I started teaching in 2012, and remains my primary focus at SF State, where I began teaching in 2018.
